A Problem With Titles

And not the only problem, mind, but a
is that I’m often forcing her to be
My Oldest Friend or Sex or One I See
If I Can Manage To Every Day
or Green Eyed Girl Who Calls Me Drunkenly
Late At Night To Talk Old Movies Or Death
or Small Wrists or Freckles or Morning Breath
or Almost Certainly In Love With Me

or Anything because I get obsessed
with parts of me, trying to figure out
and label things, struggling to find a home
for each small feeling when—I must confess—
the truth is that there never was a doubt:
to me she is a perfect little Poem.
