The Tree’s Life: Feynman’s Ode

Oak tree seed,
heaven-dropped,
attracts molecules

as they fall
space dandruff
collects, stacks tall

oak tree
eats air-grapes
chewed by sunlight

oxygen-seeds spit
roots sprout
to drink from

that atomic
compost heap
of settled

sour spaceballs
we call
groundwater.
